Milestone Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric physical therapy clinic located in Winchester, VA. Milestone prides itself in providing one-on-one client centered care focused on reaching family goals and improving participation in activities of childhood. Milestone believes that it is a child's job to play and our services stress therapeutic, rehabilitative play to reach all goals through individualized programs. We are determined to bring high quality care to an under-served community and treat orthopedic, developmental, and neurological pediatric conditions.
Milestone Pediatric Therapy offers a variety of physical therapy services to the pediatric market in Winchester, VA and the surrounding areas. Play-directed rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, including surgery, sprains, and fractures, makes getting stronger fun! A well-developed torticollis program fosters and guides each parent through the development and treatment of their infant. Milestone takes a whole-child approach to treatment of gross motor delays, neuro-developmental and coordination disorders in order to address family goals and concerns. This approach helps each child grow toward their maximal participation in childhood activities and play. Milestone also offers community and home based sessions to help reach specific family goals and target participation difficulties in a real world setting.

Megan McIntyre, PT, DPT

Owner/Founder
Dr. Megan McIntyre has lived in the Winchester community since 2009 when she started her undergraduate work at Shenandoah University. After graduating with a bachelor degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Dance, she began working on her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University. Dr. McIntyre graduated in 2015 and started her career in Northern Virginia, where she was given the opportunity to develop her first pediatric program while simultaneously working with the adult orthopedic population. She has since developed a popular and successful torticollis program, honed her skills for pediatric orthopedic issues, become a provider of choice for toe walking therapy, and continued her education on neuro-developmental pediatric conditions. Dr. McIntyre thrives on thinking outside of the box to deliver best care to her clients and help them reach their goals faster! Milestone Pediatric Therapy is Dr. McIntyre’s vision to bring more services to a very underserved population in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
Dr. McIntyre is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, national chapter, American Physical Therapy Association Virginia chapter, as well as the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and the Pediatric Special Interest Group.
Dr. McIntyre also works as an adjunct professor for the PT and PA programs at Shenandoah University. She teaches Gross Anatomy in the cadaver lab, Neuroscience for Physician Assistant, and Medical Physiology.
Dr. McIntyre currently lives in Winchester with her husband, Nate and 2 sons, Rowan and Finnian. They have an Anatolian Shepherd named Juniper and a black cat named Jackson together. She enjoys going for hikes, ballroom dancing with her husband, cooking, crocheting, and gardening.
