Developmental/Gross Motor Delay
Developmental Delay and Gross Motor Delay are both characterized by a child not meeting their developmental milestones by an appropriate age with or without any known diagnosis to cause the delay in milestones. If your child isn’t rolling/sitting up independently by 8-9 months, walking independently by 18 months, or running/jumping by 2.5-3 years old to keep up with their peers, your child may have gross motor delay and may benefit from physical therapy intervention. Milestone will help foster your child through the developmental progression and address underlying impairments keeping your child from achieving their milestones!
